![]() ![]() So far what I've seen is Leather and Furs. Once again the people of Berk have a down to earth choosing for this. Some of the guns they Carry are so big they look like they could blow apart a person's head! Overall there is no Conventional armour in the world that can stop a blow from a Hunter's weapon! Their bows are high tensioned and the arrows are designed to pierce a Monster's impregnable Scales! Also they carry firearms too. From quick and nimble swords to the massively slow but devastating Great swords (which is far bigger than the person carrying it!!!) to the large Lances with Shields they wield on foot (yes, LARGE LANCES ON FOOT!!!), added the fact that they are crafted with high quality metals, the bones and scales of defeated monsters and done by skilled blacksmith makes their weapons perfect for the task at hand! For Projectiles they too go for the massive scale. ![]() Oh Now we're talking!!! The arsenal for every Hunter always have that one word: MASSIVE!!! As the threats they face are massive the weapon of choice are also massive in scale. Plus Astrid has been shown to throw axes, meaning they're axe throwers too. Stoick the Vast once took a stake and threw it with precision, meaning they know how to use Javelins. For Projectiles they've been seen using bows. ![]() The folks seem to use Axes, hammers, maces and swords. The only mounts so far are Gargwas and Popos, both of which are weak in comparison and are stuck on land, lacking the mobility of Berk Riders!įor Berk the weapons I see so far are Bulky but still not very exaggerated, and seem like there're made of wood and steel. The only way a hunter can make them useful is if they can find a way for it to detriment the enemy MORE i.e using bait to lure the monster to the enemy. However they are incredibly Mindless and Hyper Aggressive (even the Herbivores will try and pick a fight!) and will attempt to eat any living being they can sense within their proximity! Infact they can be quite the detriment Imagine if there's a fight and then suddenly a Tigrex rushes from the trees and starts clawing away at both sides in a mad frenzy. This is where I think the Hunters are the weakest at they were trained to KILL monsters not ride them to victory! Compared to Berk the Monsters infested within Hunter Lands are even more diverse in genus, elemental damage and even size (one is as big as the biggest mountain you could ever imagine!). As they have a hive mentality they tend to stick together, making it hard to find them but if you do it will be in a massive horde! However they are rather small in comparison and every dragon's projectile can be summed up with one element Fire (Except the Queen Dragon and the Thunderdrum), though each one has a different way of using it (ETC one shoots it like Larva and can immolate itself, another can shoot Ignitable Gas and then set it of with a spark). This makes them the perfect companion and mount for Riders. However in the end they all act like dogs wanting affection from their riders. Well now that's out of the way here are a few observations I made so far:ĭragons are Diverse each having it's own way of fire breathing, flying and overall doing things. On the other side we have the Monster Hunters, Ruled by some Old Fop sitting in his chair in Dundorma! Born from a world with beautiful environments and a diverse Ecology it would be heaven if not for the pest unlike the Isles of Berk the Beast that grew in the Hunter Realms are Massive and Hyper-Aggressive! Taming them is virtually impossible and to a simple villager perspective are there to only ruin somebody's day! That's when the Monster Hunters step in! Bad asses in their own right they work for the Guild in order to curb the ever expanding monster threat from destroying the realm of men, wielding massive weapons and wearing the best armour the world has ever seen! Now the people of Berk are not only hardened Warriors and experienced sailors but now have learned the art of Dragon Riding, taking their prowess to the skies! Subsistence seems to only be sheep and fish! One thing it has in plenty are Dragons powerful creatures who are surprisingly tameable. Berk and it's surrounding Isles seem to be hardly fit for settlement as it's mountainous and grass hardly grows there, plus it's surrounded by mist. When you see these two you see a very distinctive ways of dealing with the local wildlife they have and how they adapted to them.įor How To Train Your Dragon you have Berk, led by Hiccup the Explorer, who after defeating Drogo Bludvist has not only gained more followers, but a hive of dragons thanks to his trusted night fury Toothless. 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia. ![]() 846 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai. ![]()
